I am a third generation artist. Creativity has always been part of my identity. I studied painting with my mother, textile design with my grandmother, theater with the Provincetown Players summer stock company, dance and choreography at Tufts University. I've studied with artists at the Cape Museum of Fine Art and the Cape Cod Center for the Arts, both in Massachuetts, at the Venice Center for the Arts in Florida, at the O’Hanlon Center in Marin, and with numerous individual artists. I live and create

I love to experiment with different mediums, learning what each can uniquely do to express what I see and feel. I will often shift from one to another depending on the subject matter. Oil, watercolor, acrylic, casein, pen and ink, and textile, buttons, shells and rope are all are tools for expression.
I work best when I am open to what I see and non-judgmental about what I do. Those moments are best when I can capture the freedom of my five year old self playing with my mother's paints and mosaics or my grandmother's fabrics and and combine that with the confidence and instinct of training and experience.
